  • Hi,

Yes..it’s a part of Email Subscribers plugin.

Is there any issue with it?

It’s friggin huge, I guess the plugin doesn’t prune. My host is dealing with it.

We had the same problem. Even after making the plugin inactive, one wp-ig table continued to grow until we deleted the plugin.

ginormous logging table as my host mentions.
Good to know this isn’t an isolated event.
I hope to be deleting this plugin soon, we only need to be able to have people sign up for email notification when a post is added, used this one because people could sign up for specific categories, but outside of that, this plugin is way overkill for our needs.

@dragonsjaw Please contact us. We will take care of your issue.

Thank you for the offer, but I already deleted it.
But enlightening us why that table is out of control would be helpful.

    Hello,
We are having the same issue. Our DB had 4.1 million records in the wp_ig_sending_queue table and the ISP disabled the database mysql access essentially taking down the website. We deleted all records in the wp_ig_sending_queue and wp_ig_mailing_queue after exporting the tables and backing up the DB. Any idea what is creating so many records? We are a small site and primarity use the plug-in to send to a Google Group which takes care of the bulk of the mail distribution.

Yep there is something not right about this. Host was trying to dump the ig-sending table and sql would go down (hense site down) even after deleting the plugin all the tables are still there. I haven’t checked yet this morning to see if/how she got rid of that table without shutting the site down.

I did not delete the tables or the plugin, I deleted the rows in the table and deactivated the plugin.

    Hi,

I know how frustrating it can be – let’s see how we can help…

It’s not happening for all user but still few people have reported this issue. We are looking into this issue.

We will update you as soon as we will find the solution to it.

Have seen that one database table on site grow very large.
wp_ig_sending_queue has 158,093,830 records and is 25.6 GiB in size.

    Hi,

Please upgrade Email Subscribers to 4.0.14. This issue should be fixed.

    You can empty “wp_ig_sending_queue” table.

Please check and confirm the same.

I’ve upgrading to 4.0.14, but I don’t see anywhere to empty the table. Can you please explain?
    Thanks

@kellmat74 You need to empty “wp_ig_sending_queue” table manually. Plugin doesn’t do it automatically.

    Hope that helps.
