WP-Help Posts creating multiple revisions

In looking at the posts table in the multi-site I noticed that a site that does not have much use had a large number of records. I looked at the data and queried to select the records that had a post_parent that was in the same table with the post_type of ‘wp-help’.

Out of 15568 records 15357 met that critera. I cannot isolate the reason why but it appears that there are revisions being created for each ‘wp-help’ post twice a day.

Has anyone run into something similar? Rather than just deleting out the revision posts, I’m looking to solve the root of the problem.
