WP having issues after update to 4.5.1

Well first and foremost, have you updated your plugins? Also, who is your website host? If you are hosted on WP.com you will need to contact them.

I completely deleted my plugins and Im still having the problems. Im with BlueHost, on WP.org.

Furthermore all Plugins are up to date..

BlueHost seems to think it needs a fix, currently if I download the new version of WP all the issues come back?

I am having the same issues. I’ve had to restore several databases to the 4.4.2 version.
No matter what I do it doesn’t allow me to even view screen options. It also completely disables the Visual Composer on the back end.

@dbonne44, if you deleted the plugins you will need to make sure you are restoring files and database from the same backup otherwise things are not going to work. Different hosts have different policies with providing backups; while, I have worked with bluehost before I have never had to request a backup from them so I do not know their policies. Contact them and ask them what their backup policy is they should be able to help you get the site restored.

@sweetcapri Are you restoring the database and files from the same version of the backup? You might be better off starting a new thread!

Thanks for your advice, the site has been restored but no fix to my problem and BlueHost told me they don’t have authority to delete any files. Do you recommend I uninstall and reinstall WP?

Did you try updating your theme? Most of the themes came up with updates after the latest WordPress update.

Yes no resolution from that either, cleared all cache on my MAC as well just incase still no luck.
