WP gallery not working after 5.2

  • I’ve had an issue since WP updated to version 5. My photo galleries now link directly to image files, not a carousel view.

    I’m using a child theme under TwentySixteen, not sure if that’s the issue. I didn’t change anything since before WP 5.

    Anything I can check for? I’m at a loss why this suddenly changed.
