• Thanks for the great plugins: Events Manager + WP FullCalendar.

I am using hierarchical Event-Categories. In the Event only one event-category is assigned, e.g. the childrens category.

In Frontend View: If I set the Dropdown filter for a parent event-category I would like to display all Events of the children event-categories as well.

At the moment only either parents or children, not both, are displayed if I select the parents category. Only Workaround is to set both categories within the Event.

Is it possible to customize the behaviour to also Display childs when filtering for a parent event-category?

    Thanks a lot!

just to narrow down the problem and help us debug the issue is it possible to try the following temporarily:

    – deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems

I have deactivated all plugins except of
    – Events Manager (5.5.7.1)
    – WP FullCalendar (0.9)

and also switched to the default theme
    – Twenty Thirteen (1.5)

Nothing changed: If I set a filter for a parent category the children are not displayed. Only if I choose “All Event Categories” all Events are displayed.

    Thanks for your help!
