• So I need a plugin to allow my users to edit their posts on the front end. I installed WP Front End Editor. After installing, it notified me that I needed to install WP Rest API. So did that too. Now, after checking all through my WP Dashboard there are no settings. There is no option to edit, delete, or update posts anywhere via the plugin. Uhm.. ?? Not really sure about this one…going to delete it for now unless someone has a solution for the fact that it’s not working.

There are no settings. Have you tried editing the post on the front-end (edit button in the black toolbar at the top)?

Ah ok, that makes sense why I wasn’t seeing any then. ?? I just assumed there would be settings at least to control the level of access for user roles. I did not have any buttons available to use on my front-end – I do have my WPadmin bar disabled and hidden from all users except admin (that could explain why I didn’t see any buttons/links to allow any post modifications) If the plugin requires the admin bar visible for users to be able to modify posts, I guess I won’t be able to use it.

Hi kosmicbird, I’m in the same situation. Did you find a workaround to this issue? thanks
