    Hello,

I am not receiving the emails from the “send inquiry form” on the website.

Now when I was editing the info in the “notifications” section in the forms backend; it did mentioned about not having the email of the same domain.

Actually my domain is [ redundant link removed ] but the email that I want to use is [ email deleted, never post those ] for receiving emails.

How can I do so? Kindly advise.

    Thanks,
    Rashida H.

  • Hey @rashidazhussain – Thanks for reaching out!

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with email delivery.

To troubleshoot the issue, you can check that your form notification settings are configured correctly by following our tutorial.

If your notification settings are correct, the issue is likely because the emails sent from WordPress are not authenticated (unlike emails sent directly from dedicated email service providers). As a result, they are likely to be filtered by the receiving mail server.

To resolve email delivery issues like this, you can configure a SMTP plugin on your site so that emails are sent as authenticated. We have an article with a list of recommended SMTP options and links to their setup tutorials.

    I hope this helps ??

    Hello,

Sorry for the delay in reply and I appreciate you replying back asap.

However, I have a question; I have never faced this problem with WP Forms or WordPress before. I have so many websites and I have always used WordPress and WP Forms.

Earlier, I was thinking my problem is the “Send to Email Address” because that’s of different domain than the existing one. But the problem is my “From Email”.

In my previous WordPress websites and WP Forms, I have always had dummy email of the domain and it has worked. For eg: [email protected] etc.

So, why am having problem this time? Just wanted to make sure before I take this SMTP route.

    Kindly advise.

    Thanks,
    Rashida H.

Hey @rashidazhussain – Thanks for following on this ticket!

When you have sometime, can you please share the screenshot of your notification settings or export copy of the form so I can take a closer look?

    Kindly,

    Hello,

All my WP Forms settings on other websites are like this except the email change. And they are working fine.

Just with this form .. I am not receiving emails via form on the webpage.

    Send to Email Address:
    [email protected]
    Email Subject Line:
    Send Inquiry Form
    From Name:
    Avon NH15 Escape Hood
    From Email:
    [email protected]

These are the settings that I have.
    Kindly advise.
    Thanks,
    Rashida H.

Hey @rashidazhussain – Just to double check, the From Email is different then the Domain URL? Sometimes email providers will flag or block emails that arrive from a different domain than they claim. For example, if your From Email is @gmail.com, but your domain is https://www.example.com, this domain mismatch may cause an email provider to block the email.

When you have sometime, can you please confirm? I see you’ve mentioned something similar but I just wanted to double check.

    Kindly,
