WP Folio – page container color no longer works

Is WS Folio an update of WP Folio? When I got this theme, it was free, and it is no longer supported.

Your site shows https://wpfolio.visitsteve.com/wiki/ as the developer’s site, but it’s gone.

The HTML markup of your site does not let you have a different color for the nav area and page backgrounds. If you’re using a child theme, you could put a container div around that and then have something on which to hang your desired CSS.

You can sorta get there with this:

    background: #fff;
    width: 100%;
    margin: 0;
}
.sf-menu {
    float: right;
}

Until earlier today, I did have a white background for more than just the nav. If you look at this page, you will see what it was like: https://dolmarva.com/mpehanich/

That site is using the same theme. It wasn’t until I went to the theme options page to change a font (which was stupid, because I have the google fonts plugin), and made a change there, that the background disappeared. So it isn’t just the nav, and I think that if I knew what to call it, I could fix it. I tried variations on “container, but I just don’t have the right code.

Yes, but not with the new posts I just added.

Is it possible to restore the settings and leave the posts alone?

You could try restoring just the wp_options table from your old backup as the theme changes your made via the theme’s settings are probably saved there.

Would this be in the “Themes”? The “Others”?

When I go to restore the backup, using Updraft Plus, those are categories I could choose…I don’t know how to go directly to wp–options.But maybe I am answering my question…if I just do it manually…

I tried, but I can’t find a file with that name in my backups. All it does is send me to a database file, and I am out of my depth. Thanks for your help anyway!
