WP File Manager Pro – AMP Validation Errors

    We upgraded to WP 5.7 and AMP plugin to 2.0.11 and WP File Manager Pro to 8.1 we start facing AMP validation errors on frontend when admin is logged-in however site visitors are not facing AMP validation errors. The report says that WP File Manager Pro is using invalid <script> tag.

    How long do we need to wait for an update along with the fix?

  • Stop using AMP! It is the worst shit Google ever came up with.

    I’ve had so far 4 sites using AMP and they were ALL thrown totally OUT of Google’s index and it took six months to get them back!

    In my case it was other plugins Google Validation Errors pointed at. But there are NO errors!

    I advise you STRONGLY to DROP AMP totally!!!! SERIOUSLY!!!! It WILL hurt your site because of Google’s Mobile First Policy!!

    You can even read on Google’s AMP pages that the AMP project is ‘in experimental stage’… Comforting, right?

    AMP is terribly BUGGED!!!

    The faster you kill the AMP plugin the better you will rank in Google.

    All the remaining search engines doesn’t care about AMP. You will rank fine in them. But eventually AMP will cause Google to DELETE your site in their index!

    @fodermester I disagree. We are using AMP since 1.5 years now and it turns out a great experience for us.

    We did face traffic drop on start of our journey but not anymore. Regarding AMP validation errors I would strongly recommend you to go through their documentation first before doing any development in addition to that I would STRONGLY recommend you to use the OFFICIAL AMP plugin but not the third party’s.
