WP feeds are not properly rendered in Firefox 1.0

  • Hi!
    I just emerged firefox-1.0_pre on my Gentoo box to test the rss
    feader feature.
    However, trying with the feed on my web site as well as on WordPress site, I get the following:
    ” This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.” plus
    html code.
    The same Firefox renders e.g. Gentoo ebuilds fine ??
    Is it some wp bug?

  • If you mean it looks like this:
    https://hq.servequake.com/feed/rss
    I believe that is what happens when a site has nothing extra on a plain RSS document (which is actually an XML document.)
    RSS can be styled via XLST, to look good, but it’s usually not common and not currently done by WP or FireFox.
    Basically, any feed should look like that.

    Yes, it was something like that ??
    However after restarting Firefox, now those feeds from
    WordPress site looks OK.
    Strange :-()
    Now I have WP feeds bookmarked in Firefox and everything seems fine.
