    Hi there,

I have a bad habit of tweaking myself into a corner. I’ve messed up my cache settings and want to just reset everything to their default values. Is there a list of the default settings? Should I just uninstall and reinstall?

    Thanks,

    Bryan Durio

  • I could use this info too. Stupid question, but under settings, am I supposed to check the first one? “Cache System” Or is it enough to activate the plugin?

I’d really appreciate some help with this as I do not want to get myself into trouble by randomly checking boxes!

    Many thanks.

hi @duriologist , there is no default settings. just you need to enable all the checkboxes.

hi @nlevasseur , when you enable “Cache System”, only the cache starts work. but if you enable the other checkboxes as well, the optimization features star to work as well.

    Hi Emre,

    Thanks for your quick reply!

The thing is, the checkboxes weren’t all enabled when I first installed the plugin! So based on your answer to NLeVasseur, maybe I should uncheck them all except for Cache System and start over from there.

    Do you agree?

I also have to tell you that WP Fastest Cache is indeed the fastest cache I have found for my website. It isn’t even close. Thank you!

I recommend you to enable all the checkboxes.

    Thanks, Emre. I’ll try that.

Yes, thank you Emre. I will proceed accordingly.

    Hey Emre,

I checked all the check boxes this morning, and so far, so good. I just wish the Preload worked a little faster. I set it at 6 pages per minute per your recommendation in the Help box but disabled Restart After Completed.

    Thanks again!

@duriologist , You can speed up the preload feature by adding a cronjob as below.
