WP Error on Uploading Image File

  • I have created an Image field, but when I try to upload an image, I get the WP message “Specified file failed upload test.” Do you know how this can be fixed? I’ve tried this with many different files and with both Chrome and FireFox.

    I’m running BuddyPress 3.1.0 on WP 4.9.7.

    Hello Ericval,

    It seems image is not uploading to the destination folder i.e. “uploads/bpxcftr-profile-uploads/”. Please check if image is uploading into this directory or not and let me know.

    Hello Ericval,

    Thank you for acknowledgement. It seems plugins unable to create this directory. Please create this directory and assign permission as per uploads directory and check weather file are now uploading or not. Also do let me know weather normal WordPress media uploading is working or not.
