    They have the exec function disabled, so the plugin will not work. The only way to fix it is to ask if they will enable it.

    Normally, you would have seen a big red warning about this, but there was a bug (fixed in ‘dev’) that missed exec being disabled if it is the first function in the disabled_functions list.

    Ah okay gotcha – actually noticed that but wasn’t sure if it was the main problem. Appreciate the quick response!

    Just as a note for anyone else who comes here, don’t bother asking WPEngine to enable it, as they will not do so.
