I have an Elementor form that sends submissions to the admin (standard info@ address). The FROM address is also the info@ which is authorized in MP. This results in the form submission emails not getting sent/received. When I use a different email address (unrelated domain/service), I’m able to receive the form submission emails. I also tried sending from wp@ email (authorized) to the info@ email, and still nothing. I even tried removing the info@ email from MP, to try and make it unrelated. Nothing works. I know that the email is working because I’m getting direct emails to that address, but not through MP via the Elementor contact form.

  • Hi there @strategicsys,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Do you use MailPoet Sending Service for transactional emails on your site?

Can you please give me your site’s URL?

Yes, I have the “send all email” set to Mailpoet (https://i.imgur.com/cJxwOZm.png). And as I mentioned, it does seem to send ok, when sending to an address separate from the website domain (any random Gmail, etc), which I tested again just before typing this, and got it immediately. But when I set the TO email to info-at-smarthomesbuilders-dot-com (which is the same domain as the website, and the same domain as the FROM email (wp-at-smarthomesbuilders-dot-com), it doesn’t get through.

    Hi there @strategicsys,

Thanks for getting back to us!

This email address was added to our internal bounce list.

We add an email address to the known bounce list when we try to send an email to this address but receive a bounce message from the recipient’s email server. It could happen when your domain or email server had a temporary downtime at some point in the past.

I removed it from this list. Please test the delivery and let me know if you see further issues!

Ok, I just tried it again. Will see if it goes through.

Is there any way for me to control the bounce list?

    Hi there @strategicsys,

There is no way to control our internal bounce list.

Feel free to reach out to us if you see any further deliverability issues!

Hi, I’m having the same problem where it works for a random gmail but not emails with the site domain after the @. Could you help with that?
