• This really applies to what seems to be all 4.4 releases.

I’m accessing several WP sites via my MacBook and I’m finding a very annoying bug. When you are in the dashboard, or any function within it, the horizontal scrolling is going ouside the page boundaries. It’s extremely annoying when you are working with Apple’s Magic Mouse for instance, but it’s equally annoying with other devices, as the whole page shifts.

I previously submitted this phenomenon, and was told that it was a plugin. It’s NOT. I have over 25 different WP implementations I manage, different plugins, different themes and they all have this anomaly. I have gone in and deactivated every single plugin and the phenomenon persists. Yes, even in a freshly downloaded WP install, it doesn’t work.

I found some temporary relieve by forcing the scroll OFF on my mouse and then leaving it on via the trackpad. But I think this shouldn’t be the case.

Note that this doesn’t seem to affect the overall site rendering, just anything in the dashboard.

This happens on all machines I’ve worked with…MacBook. IMac with Retina display, Windows 10. It doesn’t matter how large you extend the screen the aberrant scrolling still persists.

Has anyone else experienced this? If so, were you able to resolve it?
