@nnsa2018 – Appreciate you taking the time to update your review. And the premise is fair, we understand there is some complexity here.
That said we are open to suggestions and constantly improving. For instance prior to v1.7 (assuming you never used it before) when you created any trigger, a default cookie was created and associated automatically, even when you didn’t want it. This was because we were trying to solve the issue of confusion in needing to link your trigger + cookies together. Now when you make a trigger it asks, would you like to make a cookie and is more intuitive.
If you have any specific pain points or even a dozen, list them and I would love to find ways to alleviate them. I mean I would love for this to be a 500k active install plugin with 0 support needs ;).
I will say much of the complexity is neccessary based on the shear number of users and infinite ways they want thier popups to work. Some only need a 1 time notice, but others want popups that show once every seven days if you close it, never again if you submit the form, others want to show popup b only after you submit the form in popup a. None of that is possible without those added complexitites.
