WP eCommerce Shipping Issue

  • Hello,

    When I try to test Shipping I receive the following message:

    “Please select one of the available shipping options, then we can process your order.”

    I turned off all plugins and the problem still persisted.

    I am running:
    WordPress version: 4.6
    WP e-Commerce version: 3.11.3

    Although I have seen references to my issue in previous version and years prior, I did not see a solution or any recent post.

    Any help in resolving would be appreciated.

  • I am having the same issue on a live site and this just started after the upgrade to WordPress 4.6. When logged in as administrator the shipping works correctly. When not logged in I get the message “Please select one of the available shipping options, then we can process your order.” I use the “Flat Rate” shipping with a setting of 0.00 in all “All 50 States” and then the shipping rate set in each variable product.

    Another piece of information. When logged in, the shipping rate is pulled from the variable product correctly. When not logged the shipping rate is not pulled. Always shows 0.00 (or whatever you have set the base rate).

    This is a live site, so need this resolved quickly.

    Another update. I don’t believe this is related to WordPress 4.6. I loaded WordPress 4.5.2 and still got the issue. Only works when logged in as Administrator.

    Finally got it working with a work-a-round. In the Flat Rate module if you set both 48 states and all 50 states to a value, it will work. You need to be able to set just one or the other. As is, it is kind of clumsy for the user.
