WP Ecommerce Permalinks Not Working

  • I recently installed wp ecommerce and I cannot get the permalinks to work properly. The permalink to the products-page and shopping cart page does work. For the store categories and products, the links are wrong. They are linking to /shop/?page_id=3?category=1?product_id=1 rather than /shop/products/categoryname/productname/

    Anyone know a fix for this? I dont think its a problem with wordpress but the plugin itself.

  • Did you change the permalinks AFTER you set up the plugin?
    You can change those links by going to the plugin’s admin page (eCommerce) > Shop Options.

    I did change the permalinks after. I also went into the shop options and set them up properly. The result:

    /shop/products/?category=1?product_id=1

    The products part is right but its not changing the category or product id to names. I also deactivated and activated the plugin a few times and still didnt work.

    There are two options in the wp_options table that could be the problem.

    rewrite_rules
    page_uris

    Can someone who is familiar with this check it out?

    anyone have a solution?

    similar problem here too. If you go to moulds.co.nz and click on any category name e.g Contemporary [24], the products dont show only a blank page. If you go to https://moulds.co.nz/products/ you can see all the products.

    Does anyone know what the problem might be and how to fix it?
