We tried Gator Cache on a WP 3.4.1 Multisite with WP eCommerce 3.10.1 and it brings the load time tremendously down. This plugin is really simple and very effective!

We would like to use it, but have a problem. The products in the checkout (Header & Sidebar) update only on the “product category” pages.

On all other pages such as Home, products, blog or the static pages etc. the checkout is not updated. On these pages the checkout shows always only the cached content rather than the actual content of the users, when they visit the sites.

On the product category pages, the checkout will be automatically updated for the user (And shows what he has in the shopping cart). Just like it should be.

How do we get this to work on the other side to?

Is the issue that the checkout page is being cached? If so you can go to the cache rules tab and where it says exclusions, put in /checkout/ and /cart/. GatorCache also follows the do not cache directive that can be defined by plugins, not sure if WP Ecommerce uses this, as I’ve worked with that plugin a few times and prefer WooCommerce.

The problem is the shopping card (widget) not the checkout-page. But it seems a ajax-problem in the premium theme. We are now waiting for a theme update.
