You’re mentioning several different things here all not quite related.

Product Category? in Dashboard?

The Dashboard is a page that displays specific elements of your site not particularly a category or products. It would show you recent sales stats.

There isn’t a category for products if you’re referring to post categories?

You would however see in the left hand navigation “Products” this allows you to manage your products.

The store itself has a menu item named “Store” this is a sub menu of the Settings menu.
