wp e-commerce widget category interfering with other widgets

I am having a problem with the wp-ecommerce widget interfering with the widget beneath it. Basically the title background of the widget beneath extends all the way up into the list of categories on the wp e-commerce categories widget (referring to product categories).

I can’t seem to get a registration email from the getshopped forum, so I’m trying here instead.

I wanted to implement the fix noted in the above link, but I have two problems:

1) There are two files similar to the one mentioned, they are now called:

category_widget.28.php

and

category_widget.27.php

2) There is no endif statement in any of these files!

I am having a really hard time with this and would appreciate any help someone can offer!
