WP e-commerce checkout page and 2011 sidebar issue

I’m having an issue with my WP e-commerce checkout page where the sidebar appears top right in the side content area (appears as it should on all pages, including product pages) but the entire main content area with checkout items is being pushed down below the sidebar content rather than side by side, as if it is too wide to fit. Its strange because all of the other pages appear perfectly so not sure if this is a WP e-commerce issue or 2011 theme… I searched the forum and tried a few suggested fixes which mainly invloved adding code to my child style.css and adjusting the sidebar width, but nothing has worked for me. Hoping someone might have an up to date solution for this?
