WP Domain Redirect to External Domain

  • Hi all,

    My company is working with a third-party hosting provider and have been experiencing issues the past couple weeks trying to redirect to our company site instead of the domain that the WP site was installed under.

    My company does not have the ability to host WP, which is why we are working with a third-party hosting provider and had previously been using a WordPress-hosted site for our blog. Since WP cannot be hosted on our servers, the provider needed to create a new domain for our WordPress site, so we have:

    companydomain.com (no WP installed)
    WPdomain.com (WP installed)
    blog.oldcompanydomain.com (WP Hosted)

    How do we redirect the WPdomain.com so that the URLs and permalinks show up as companydomain.com? And also make sure that blog.oldcompanydomain.com is also redirecting to companydomain.com since we have links to about five years worth of published content under that URL being crawled by search engines.
