wp does not recognize my username after redirecting name servers

    Hello,
    I am in the process of switching a 2 day old wp.com account to wp.org and yesterday redirected my nameservers to BlueHost. The transfer went through this morning but when I tried to login to wp, it doesn’t recognize my username anymore. I have downloaded wp.org through BH and have even tried to login via my website which now has a Mojo Marketplace theme going on.
    My domain is https://www.perpetualflow.com

    Please let me know if anyone has any suggestions or what other information I can provide to make troubleshooting easier.

  • Is this where you are logging in?

    It won’t be the same login as your other site or these forums.

    Looks like you also need to remove the index.html file from your server root – that’s what is likely blocking your site from being visible.

    Hi WPyogi!
    Thanks again for you help with all of my issues. That is the login address I use and still get that I have an invalid username.
    This is so strange. I’m not sure what is going on.
    Could the index file I’m looking for also be index.php not index.html?

    index.php is part of WP so don’t delete that one!

    Are you using the new login you created when you set up this new site?

    Now I see your site at WP.COM at your site URL – which is weird. Do you have some kind of redirect set up on BlueHost?

    Hi WPyogi,

    I sat on talked to BH and they did something on their end as well I deleted my cache and apparently everything works now. Thank goodness!
