WP displays pages as text on white background

  • Hi, I’m having the weirdest problem: my local installation of WP is displaying some, but not all of the pages as text on white background, like they were an online pdf document or something. The correct page flashes at first, but then goes to this document display. This happens when I click the link to ‘view the page’ or ‘review changes’.

    Any idea of what I should be looking at?

    I’m using MAMP on Mac and port 80 for localhost, wordpress and plugins updated to the latest version.

    However I feel there must be some issue with your theme so can you please share the name of the theme you are using on your wordpress installation.

    Dear Pkbhatt, thanks a lot + sorry about the delay. This was happening on local server. I then started from the beginning again on the web server, and started getting an error where something is using up server resources so that I get a 508 error and it jams my entire server. The developer does not accept that it has to do with the theme but I have never encountered this before AND the problem followed from local server to the web server despite the new installation. The theme is Medical Clinic by CMS Masters. If you can give me any pointers that would be wonderful. Thanks!

    Hi all, still haven’t resolved this – the CMS Theme developer insists it is a server issue, not a theme issue and hence not part of their remit to help with. But problem only occurs with this theme… Any tips for trouble shooting? Thanks again.
