WP discards content upon updating post

  • After creating over a hunfred posts containing title and categories only, I am attempting to go back through and populate the posts with a photo and content vis pasting html from old asp site.

    Over half of the posts experience getting completely cleared or everything but the photo upon executing an UPDATE.

    Even tried deleting and creating a NEW POST with no success.
