WP Delicious doesn’t display the recipe settings in backend

I checked with Impreza theme and the settings are appearing on my end. Please check this screenshot – https://prnt.sc/F9zPcUC5in12

You can add recipes via Recipes > Add New. If the settings is not showing, maybe there is a plugin conflict. I recommend deactivating plugins one by one and checking which plugin is causing the issue.

The plugin automatically creates a recipe index page. If you want to create your own recipe page, you can do it using our Gutenberg blocks and Elementor widgets plugin.

Thank you so much for your fast reply.
I assume we missunderstood each other. The plugin installed correctly, all appropriate documents are installed but I can’t enter recipe data in the section “Rezepteinstellungen”. There are no fields or a menu to enter or choose anything, the ingredients till example..

I have deactived plugins but nothing changed. I have “Impreza” theme and WPB in use.

Sorry that I misunderstood. Thank you for sharing the video. As shown in the video, there is still a Classic Editor. This is how my Editor looks with just Impreza theme – https://prnt.sc/lONK50Syea_S

Upon further inspection, I found that WPBakery Page Builder has option to disable the Gutenberg Editor – https://prnt.sc/4w-I2mjswrnW. Can you please check and let me know if that option is unchecked or not? If checked, please uncheck and try it.

If the issue still persists, please let me know the list of plugins activated on your site to replicate the issue on our end.

I see the 2 documents (recipies), one is your sample and one I created but I can’t enter the recipe settings such as Ingredients, preparations time and so on.

On this entry I should see and be able to enter the ingredients, right?

And last but not least – WPBakery = Gutenberg Editor is UNCHECKED but I do not use Gutenberg.

Thank you for your patience and sharing those screenshot. I noticed that UpSolution Core enables Classic Editor. There is an option to enable Gutenberg Editor – https://prnt.sc/dP0pQ6rbNiZA

Please try and let me know if this works or not. Since you are using some premium plugins, I don’t have access to those. If it doesn’t work, please reach out to your theme support team and ask them how to enable Gutenberg Block Editor.

Well, I have seen Gutenberg Editor but I don’t want to install one more editor – as I mentioned I do not like Gutenberg Editor. If it is not possible without Gutenberg then I quit.
I will do it with ACF myself. It seems to be too complicated.

Gutenberg Editor is required for the proper functioning of the plugin. Here are few things you can do:

1. Ask your theme support team to add Gutenberg Editor support only for CPT recipe. This way you don’t have to use elsewhere.
2. Disable Classic Editor option from Impreza theme and WPBakery plugin and install Classic Editor plugin. You can then enable the option allowing you to choose which Editor to use while creating/editing the post.
3. You can use the below code snippets to enable Gutenberg Editor for WP Delicious plugin only (CPT – recipe) using the FluentSnippets plugin. Here’s the code:

function exclude_recipe_cpt_from_classic_editor($can_edit, $post) {

$excluded_post_type = 'recipe'; 

if ($post->post_type === $excluded_post_type) {
    return true; // Force Gutenberg editor
}

return $can_edit;
}
add_filter('use_block_editor_for_post', 'exclude_recipe_cpt_from_classic_editor', 10, 2);

If none of these methods work, there are no other ways to use the plugin. I’m sorry about this.

I now was able to re-install it, get your tips in consideration – and IT WORKS!
Today, I have added some CSS to look resp. to adapt more to my design template and so far, it looks not too bad – thanks so much for your effort!
