WP default search not working after installing Ajax search lite

  • Hi, I have set certain category rules on ajax search lite and activated the plugin. There is one option to overwrite ajax search lite with WP default search. I have enabled it. Once enabled the ajax search lite bar as well as WP default search bar are working similar, means the search bar is searching only that category. But if I disabled this feature, both the search bar are searching with deafult WP search global search. Is there anyway where WP default seach bar searches globally and ajax search lite bar searches only that category?

    Hi,

    I’m afraid that may not be possible if the search override is enabled. If you turn off the override then the Ajax Search Lite live results will be different from the ones from the results page.

    If I am disabling this function then both ajax search and wordpress search are sharing same global results.
