• I recently had an issue with my Database and i had been using this plugin assuming that it had been creating proper database backups for my website. When I went to go restore from the file I got errors, so upon checking the SQL file I found that it’s not saving the database at all but instead:

    /usr/bin/mysqldump Ver 8.23 Distrib 3.23.58, for redhat-linux-gnu (i386)

Dumping definition and data mysql database or table
    Usage: /usr/bin/mysqldump [OPTIONS] database [tables]
    OR /usr/bin/mysqldump [OPTIONS] --databases [OPTIONS] DB1 [DB2 DB3...]
    OR /usr/bin/mysqldump [OPTIONS] --all-databases [OPTIONS]

There’s more, but you get the idea.

Is there an alternative to WP-DBManager or can someone help me figure out why this is being output instead of my DB, I’ve already lost 2 months worth of Data, would prefer not to have to lose any more.

    Database Type MYSQL
    Database Version v5.0.91-log
