• Hi,

    does anyone know how i can sort this issue out?

    Your backup folder MIGHT be visible to the public

    To correct this issue, move the .htaccess file from wp-content/plugins/wp-dbmanager to /home2/motherh5/public_html/wp-content/backup-db

    Where is this backup folder so that I can move the .htaccess file?

    Many thanks

  • it should have been created by the plugin…. you don’t have a backup-db folder in your wp-content folder?

    I have no idea where the wp-content folder is tbh ??

    ahh I see! It’s a folder in your file structure on your server. You have files and folders on there, just like on your computer

    You need to either use FTP (filezilla is a good free program, google has help on using it) or a file manager if your host offers it.

    Using either method, you’ll need to sign on to your host/server

    navigate to the folders listed in your original post
    wp-content -> plugins -> wp-dbmanager

    the .htaccess file will be in there…you move it to

    wp-content -> backup-db
