I’m using dynamic hyperlinks to create a mailto: link for a “Volunteer Now” button and I use the subject and body parameters and want to substitute database fields into the email. The problem occurs whenever the database information contains spaces or single quotes. The spaces cause a problem on android chrome because they are not converted properly. They become a plus character in the email. I fixed this in the rest of the subject and body field by using non-breaking spaces, but I cannot necessarily update the entire database to convert spaces into nbsp. The single quotes cause problems across the board because they result in the truncation of the link.

Any ideas how to fix this without having to do a complete database overhaul to eliminate spaces and single quotes??

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
