This just started. In Plugins when I activate one of the plugins the other one deactivates. Example if I have WP Data Access activated and try to activate the Premium version, the WP Data Access plugin deactivates (and visa versa). I have not been able to have both plugins active at the same time. I tried deactivating the other plugins, but to no avail.

    Hi @sarasotasam,

    Thanks for reaching out.

That’s the intended behavior. Once you have the Premium version of the plugin, the free version will automatically deactivate.

However, we do suggest keeping the free version installed (but deactivated) as this helps with version control in Freemius (our license middleman)

Hope this helps! Let us know if you have more questions.

Thanks for the clarification. It would be good if you could put the information somewhere. It is very confusing.

Thanks for the suggestion! We’ll add that to the queue for improvements. ??
