wp dashboard loading slow

  • hi everyone,
    Can someone tell me what would cause the dashboard of my site to load very slow when the site itself runs pretty fast. its when i edit a page or add new content or anything i am doing in the dashboard is when load times are very slow but then as soon as its loaded its fine. i can visit all my pages and posts quickly on my site as long as i am not in the dashboard.
