[WP Customer Reviews] Change default timezone

    Hey,

    This is a great plugin. I noticed that when a review is submitted, the timezone doesn’t match the timezone I had to change in WordPress settings to my local timezone. Does anyone know how to change the timezone this plugin uses to the timezone I selected in my WordPress settings, since everytime a review is submitted, the time and sometimes date have to manually be changed.

  • I am having the same problem. The plugin is using UTC time while the rest of my site is using the localized timezone. How was this resolved??

    I’m finding all new customer reviews all “pending” because the “time stamp” of the review is showing as 4 hours in the future. I’ve checked the WordPress settings, and the time zone is correct, and the current time is correct also.

    Please advise of the issue.

    Confirmed Problem!

    My current computer time is 10:11 but this call [time use_wordpress_timezone=”1″ format=”h:i A”] shows 03:09 PM.

    Has anybody figure out a workaround on this issue??

    I think I figured it out.

    The time display on my computer (who knows what’ll it will do on the live server) is 5 hours ahead. to fix the problem is used the following shortcode.

    [time use_wordpress_timezone="1" timestamp="-5 hours" format="h:i A"]

    timestamp=”-5 is the key
