ever since we made the change (before the change no issues at all), we are getting multiple errors

the rest api encountered an error

your site could not complete a loopback request

    a scheduled event has filed

    Action Scheduler:?19?past-due actions?found; something may be wrong.?Read documentation ?

we changed the IP in /etc/hosts (we use ispconfig on linux) but its still not working. any ideas?

  • In the hosts file you actually specify not only the IP address but also the domain and the IP to which it should resolve. In format:

    333.444.555.666 domain.tld

If you have a www subdomain, then this must also be specified here.

Firewalls could also get in the way.

You could also try making a curl request to the domain from the host server.

curl said it couldnt pull it, i then thought about the firewall. i have an internal dns for my website to point to the IP of my server, but it was pointing to the old IP, after changing it works. thank you for the guidance, something so simple yet forgot about it completely.

Nice if I could help. You are welcome to set the topic to solved.
