    Hi,

When I go to the “Plugin systems check” in WordPress, it says “Wp-cron enabled: False”. However, when I look in the Wp-Cron-Control plugin, I that wp-cron is working normally and many other tasks are done without any errors
I also de-activated all other plugins and then went back to the systems check page, and it still said that wp-cron isn’t enabled.
If I then enable wp-cron-control (and no other plugins, not even Product Feed pro) I still see that wp-cron is working normally.

I use WP-Rocket, and I tried switching it on or off several times, which also didn’t make a difference.

This would lead me to another issue, that might perhaps be related to this?
I have a few filters, one of which is “If SKU contains “2DK-” then Exclude”. However, the feed that is generates still has products with “2DK-” in the SKU.
I also done “if PRICE is smaller then 5 then Exclude”, but I still have several products with a price below 5 euro.
I then tried to switch it into “if PRICE is larger then 5 then Include Only”, which didn’t make any difference either.

For the record, I keep things updated every other day, so unless you released a new update 2 hours ago, the plugin is up to date when writing this. Same for wordpress and all other plugins.

At the moment I use Woo Feed to use as a secundairy feed, in order to give me something that helps to filter out the products in Merchant Center. The errors are not really something new, but I needed to update the old feed which made me use new and better filters, which don’t seem to work.

    So in short:
Plugin says WP-Cron not being enabled, even though it seems to be working fine.
Filters and Rules don’t seem to do a lot. Only 1 out of 5 filters actually seems to work.

    Update…
After posting the above I wanted to make some screenshots, and suddenly it now says “wp-cron: enabled”.
After some Googling I found threads on this plugin that cays that the Cron job will “refresh” when the plugin is deactivated and activated again. Which I did in my tests.

That seems to have solved the WP-Cron thing.

However, filters and rules still don’t seem to work fully.
    The following isn’t working:
    – if Product name contains kadobon then exclude
    – if Excluded from catalog is equal to yes then exclude
    CS is not checked.

    What does seem to work:
    – if Product ID contains 2DK- then exclude
    – if sales price is greater then 5 then include only
    – if availability is equal to on backorder then availability is in stock

    I spoke too soon.
After enabling the plugin, it seemed a few filters worked.
However, after adding 1 filter, and then manually renewing the feed, all filters stopped working. I now have not a single filters working anymore.

None of these are working now:
    – if product name contains kadobon then exclude
    – if product ID contains 2dk- then exclude
    – if excluded from catalog is equal to yes then exclude
    – if regular price is less then 5 then exclude
    – if state is equal to 2de kans then exclude
    – if availability is equal to out of stock then exclude
    – if availability is equal to on backorder then availability in stock

    Hi Vinnie,

Can you send us the plugin debug.log so we can tell how you configured your product feed? Perhaps we can see why your filters are not working. Instructions on how to retrieve the debug.log can be found here: https://adtribes.io/send-your-debug-log-to-support/

You are sure your feed is properly updating now?

Hi, I have just e-mailed the log to [email protected] and I mentioned a link to this conversation.

I have tried to edit the price of a few items, and them renewed the feed. Those changes show up right away. So I am inclined to say that it is updating normally.

The only real problem I’m having is with the rules and filters. They don’t seem to work properly.

    Thread Starter supervinnie40

    (@supervinnie40)

To give you some more info: the feed that I am using is: [projectname] => Googleshopping2
There is another one that ends with 3 instead of 2. That is my duplicate I use to test out stuff before applying it to [projectname] => Googleshopping2.

So the one that has the rules and filters that are giving me grief is: [projectname] => Googleshopping2. (the other don’t work either, but still ?? )

You also reached out to us by mail. Taking it from there.

    Just putting this update here.
I e-mailed with Support for a few days, and they where kind enough to try to figure out what the problem was.

The main geuss was that the use of Redis prevented the feed from updating, but after disabling Redis, it still didn’t work. The end of the conversation was that they don’t know or understand and they think it would be something to do with my caching systems.

Seeing as the matter is not resolved, it would be incorrect to mark this thread as resolved. I am still trying to figure out what the problem is.

Another update from my part. I’m not sure what they have changed, but the filters and rules seem to work again.

Well, with that I mean that having more then 1 rule works. Every single filter/rule I create has a certain effect on the generated list.

There is one catch (haven’t tested out if there are more then 1 bugs) but it seems my filter for the minimum price goes wrong? Would you prefer me creating a new topic? Or continue in this one??

    The problem is:

My field mapping is set up like this:
    g:price => Regular Price => EUR
(adding EUR to the end of the variable)

In field/rules it is set up like this:
If Regular Price is less then 5 then Exclude

Before having this filter I have 167 products (which is correct). After adding the above rule I get 46 products, which should be 151 products.
The plugin seems to filter out various numbers, not just the ones that are below 5, it also removed prices such as 10,49 or 20,56.

I forgot to include, changing “5” into “5,00” doesn’t change anything.

We have tried to replicate this ourselves by creating this filter:
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/cx7yb0mkn0b59ai/RegularLess5.png?dl=0

It removes all products with a regular price lower than 5 euro from the feeds just fine for us.

    • Are you on the latest version of the plugin?
    • Can you share a screenshot of all other filters and rules you created, perhaps there is a conflict with another rule or filter
    Thread Starter supervinnie40

    (@supervinnie40)

Here is a screenshot of the filters. As you see I don’t have another filter with Price.
    https://snipboard.io/HYaIQk.jpg

I tried both “5” and “5,00”. Both change the feed from 167 product to 46 products, which is supposed to be 145 (just checked a product export to verify the number I mentioned in my previous post).

I am on the latest version, I updated this morning.

With an identical set of filters and rules those products with a regular price lower than 5 euro are still being filtered out at our end.

Are you sure your feed is properly updating and/or are you not looking at a cached version of your feed?

    Thread Starter supervinnie40

    (@supervinnie40)

Before the change: 167 products. After the change: 46 products.
After deleting the filter: 167 products again.

Have done that a few times today. Can’t be a cached version problem.

In the Mapping section I put “EUR” at the end of the variable. So “5,00” becomes “5,00 EUR”. I have removed that, but it didn’t work. Could it somehow still affect the filter?

Can you share the plugin debug.log with us so we can see how you configured your feed? Instructions on how to retrieve the debug.log can be found here: https://adtribes.io/send-your-debug-log-to-support/
