I have set up blogging by email.

It works if I load the wp-mail.php file. the emails are shown and then posted fine.

however, i installed wp-cron-mail so that it would automatically post the emails for me. it shows up in the plugins page of the management console and is activated, but for some reason does not seem to work as i still have to load wp-mail.php to get the messages postd.

    can anyone help me?

    thanks

  • Have you installed the WP-Cron plugin as well? I installed it last week and it seems to work for me.

I have copied the files from wp-cron 1.4 into my plugins folder. i have then activated them all.

dont know what else i need to do. i cant seem to find any documentation on cron at all.

found the readme – however, everything is installed and activated but still nothing happens. i have even activated the reminders option and dont even get emails from that. the email address works as i test it.

please can someone help me troubleshoot this

    thanks

Ensure that you have wp-cron and wp-cron-mail both activated. That what another post here recommended. I am having the same problem I hope this works.
