    iwebix,

My issue with portfolio was the category bug, I am trying to do a work around on it now. But before it was pulling all my posts into the portfolio format not matter the category id.

    Iwebex,

I also had the problem with the category bug on the front page. But after upgrading to 1.3 it remains unchanged. Slideshow Category ID = ¨featured¨ with only one post in that category, yet it still displays ALL the posts in the slideshow, regardless of their category.

Thanks for the upgrade – it has fixed a lot of the problems that I was originally having. Wondered if you could respond to my query earlier. Is there anyway to change the word IMPRINT to ABOUT or INFO?

    Hi ctkroeker,

don’t type in the name of the category but type in the ID (f.e. 2). You can get the category ID by clicking on Articles->Categories->Your category and then look at the URL.

    Hi Pemo,
well it is possible (: But those are graphics so you will need to edit them with a graphic tool for example Photoshop

    Thank you!

    Hi IWEBIX,

Thanks for the fix the other day. Got my images and lightbox working now. My new question is whether I can have pages appear in the light box rather than posts? I am trying to manipulate the template to function like a website that shows the pages through the slider rather than just a blog. Suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Mike

    Hi Mike,

this is not that easy.. If you don’t want to have it dynamically, then just have a look at the source code within the browser. Copy the output of the slideshow into index.php and replace description/images/links with what you want from your pages.
A dynamic solution is not easy because there are not as many possibilities for pages as for posts.

    Cheers

Thanks for the help here. IWEBIX – this is a really great theme, thank you!

My Portfolio page doesn’t display well:

My Logo gets cut off in IE

In a Portfolio page is there a way to only display posts from a certain category?

    Thank you again!

    Hi IWEBIX

thanks for the template….any insight as to why the thumbnails are not displaying?

    thanks again

I am having a trouble after the update the scrolling toward the right is not being limited by 300 and it only show 3 thumbnails instead of 7

    Hi mccrayexinor,
thumbs are showing up right now (:

    Hi Jefrey,
well we fixed the category bug, so now only posts from the category you’ve selected in theme options will be shown in the slider. To show all posts from every category just enter “0” as category ID for the slider.

How do I extend the navigation bar so that it fits the whole screen horizontally? I have 7 pages including the home page which is making two pages appear under the bar.

I have removed my blog name so there is room to move accross.

    Thanks

    Thread Starter IWEBIX

    (@iwebix)

Well it’s not that easy because navigation bar is an image. You have to extend or rebuild the image to make it fit the whole width.

    Cheers

    IWEBIX
I see you’ve released a newer version of this and I’d love to upgrade, but I dare not as I’ve customised your theme extensively around what I wanted it to look like, and you haven’t given any details of what the newer version has changed over the old one!

    Hi Travellers,
we have fixed the category Bug in index.php
Furthermore we fixed some bugs in search.php, should be no problem to add this without losing your changes.
