WP Creativix – Altering content for columns below slider

  • Is it possible to “force” the content for the columns below the slider? At the moment these three columns seem to be pretty much duplicating my slider function.

    So for example, 1st column – latest news item, 2nd column – agenda from my calendar page (separate plug-in but with widgetisable agenda), 3rd column – static text, or other widget.

    Is there anywhere else to put widgets on the home page?

    Although I like this theme very much it’s difficult to make headway with it without support. So I’m trying another theme at the moment.
