WP crashing upon selection of a customization button in dashboard

  • After opening WP, I click on a page to view or a button to add a page or to change a componet and the entire browser crashed closed. It does not happen on any other pages or sites and I have cleared the temp stuff and cookies and restarted the computer.

    This is a tech support issue but I don’t see a place to open a ticket. I need this fixed, as it is, it is not functioning at all and I can’t work on my site. Mega waste of time right now.

    Is this a common issue and if so, how can I remedy it?

    My WP dashboard is the problem. When I try to add a page in it or use any of the tools or change anything inside it, the whole browser just shuts. If I have other tabs open, they stay open and the dashboard tab shuts.

    What browser are you using? Have you tried another one?

    Have you you tried deactivating any plugins and switching to the twentytwelve theme as first troubleshooting steps?
