• Hi I’m having a SERIOUS problem. When I log into the WP Admin area, I CANNOT edit any posts or add new posts. Instead I get a blank white screen. I researched and see other people have had this issue but the repairs suggested to them are not working for me since I (1) cannot update the version (2) change the theme/appearance or (3) deactivate plugins. Any time I go to those options, the screen goes blank again. I created a VIDEO showing exactly my issue. Please see here ==> https://www.screencast.com/t/kSNnAYMDn <== and let me know how to fix this.

    Please HELP!

    Mikk

  • I do not know what you have going on there, but you can deactivate all plugins by using either FileZilla and FTP or cPanel’s File Manager to re-name /wp-content/plugins/ to something like /wp-content/plugouts/. If that *does* happen to make a difference for you there at your Dashboard, next change that folder name back to /wp-content/plugins/ and then re-activate your plugins one-at-a-time to hopefully discover which is/are causing the problem.

Ok i successfully went into cpanel and renamed ALL my plugins but still i have the same issue? Any new ideas for this? I’m totally confused. Thank you for giving me the info above at least.

Renaming current theme and switching to the default theme may solve your problem. You can also update your wordpress manually by uploading new version of wordpress inside your root except “wp-content” and “wp-config.php”.
