WP-Content Download for site migration

  • Hi,

    My site (brettcohrs.com) will not allow me to log in to the dashboard. Nobody has been able to get it going. I’ve downloaded the DB, but need to figure out how to get the WP-Content (someone else did the DB for me).

    I fear this is a dumb questions, so hopefully it’s easy: I can’t seem to connect to my site on FileZilla. I don’t use FTP clients often, so maybe it’s user error, but I’m scared that the same reason I can’t log into the dashboard is the reason I can’t access my site via FTP. Of course, saying that might be the equivalent of wondering why my baseball team never scores a touchdown… you know, I’m clueless.

    Ok… got that figured out… now How do I copy the files and folders onto my C-Drive so I can upload them once I get the new hosting set up?

    When you say you got it figured out, do you mean connecting your ftp client?
