    Hello,

I’m sure the answer is simple… It was suggested that I install CDN Enabler Plugin because it would fix my “concern”

Currently, all media is being uploaded the domain.com/wp-content/uploads/year/month I just want everything to be uploaded domain.com/content/ with out the “wp” or the date reference…

I installed the plugin, and I was told to adjust the names in the “Included Directories” to whatever I wanted… so I used “content, includes”

I tried uploading some new media, and it is still using the same, original, nasty looking folder…

How do I fix this issue?

    Thank you!

  • The CDN Enabler does not change your upload path. You must configure this in the WordPress backend. The included directories part of CDN Enabler simply lets the plugin know which directories should be included in the CDN URL rewrite.

I just wanted to hook into this. First of all, you do want the date reference if you have a lot of media. As there is an actual limit on how many files you can store in one folder. There are also some performance risks involved.

Unsure why you want to remove wp from the folder name but you can specify a custom content directory in wp-config.php
