    thanks for your message.

    You could install that specific plugin if “If you have installed a plugin that supports the Consent API, all you have to do is install the WP Consent API, and Complianz will handle the consent for your website visitors.”, in general it’s not mandatory to install it.

    You can find all the specific information about WP Consent API and the integration with our plugin in this guide

    WP Consent API doesn’t require the Premium version of Complianz to work.

    I’m not sure I understand though.

    If I don’t have Complianz Premium, can and should I install the WP Consent API and activate the Consent Mode on Google Site Kit? Or is it pointless as free Complianz doesn’t support Consent Mode?

    I hope I’m not missing something obvious or simple.

    we confirm that free version of complianz doesn’t support google consent mode.
