    Here you go
    https://www.stevens.edu/calstudentblogs/

All plugins deactivated and Twenty Eleven live.

Sorry – you’ve reverted to the other theme again.

there – it’s back to twenty eleven… sorry had to keep it switched since it’s a live site. it’s on 2011 now.

Try resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting via Settings -> Permalinks. If this works, then review Using_Permalinks before setting a custom permalink structure back up again.

After resetting it back to default, it displays this when i try to post a comment:

The requested URL /calstudentblogs/wp-comments-post.php was not found on this server.

    Not Found

The requested URL /calstudentblogs/wp-comments-post.php was not found on this server.

is this a server problem then?

Could be a problem with missing files. Try re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

ok i’ve done as you say, when i visit the URL i’m getting this

There doesn’t seem to be a wp-config.php file. I need this before we can get started.

Need more help? We got it.

You can create a wp-config.php file through a web interface, but this doesn’t work for all server setups. The safest way is to manually create the file.

i presume this means i should get that file, and then perhaps all my problems will be solved? ??

any idea how to create a wp-config file, on that point? because i do not know!

Did you delete all of the files on the root folder? wp-config.php isn’t in the WordPress download, so it shouldn’t be deleted. it’s specific to your site and is created during the install process. You can re-create it using a copy of the wp-config-sample.php file but you will need to obtain your database hostname, name, your database username and its associated password.
