WP clone doesnt work

  • I am trying to move my site from localhost to live.

    1. I install WP clone onto my localhost site.
    2. Run the backup and get the URL.
    3. Upload the .zip file to my own server
    4. Set up the clients server on their host, run the WordPress install and get the hallo world page
    5. Install WP clone in there and set the restore with updated URL that links to the .zip file on my server.
    6. It tell me that 0 tables have been copied
    7. Tells me to reset permalinks with a link, which i click on,
    8. This returns me to the wordpress install page, to which i enter my details again..
    9. Site has no content and isnt even reading my child theme
    10. Sites plugins are all deactivated

    Can someone explain this to me please
