• hello,

its like this for a few months now, i cannot find any related action that i did that made one of my WP sites unable to see if there are plugin updates…

i have divi theme and that updates fine, it sees and applies it every time

also i remember WP saw and made the 5.2.2 update just fine…
but all the plugins cannot see their updates in the repository

last month i made manual updates of most of them, by uploading them via FTP and then disabling the old ones.. everything worked fine, except the contact form 7 plugin which broke when i removed the old version.. i had to remake all the contact forms..

its not a server host issue, i have 2 more WP sites on the same host and they see and make updates just fine..

i don`t have cloudflare or other CDN caching service

i just have a plugin named Cache Enabler, but i`ve disabled and removed it, and still plugins cannot see if there are new versions available for them…

    help ?

Check function.php if you write the code for disable updates of plugin.

    i never edited the functions.php

but nevertheless, what should i be looking for ? what line of code disables the updates ?

Install WP Rollback plugin to see if you can see the latest versions of the plugins on the admin side.

    doesnt work ??

its really strange.. other WP sites on the same webhost see and update fine the plugins…

also this site where the plugins don`t see the updates just updated itself (an hour ago) to the 5.2.3 latest version

so it sees the WP version repositories.. but not the plugins one ??
