  • As autoptimize doesn’t optimize the backend (and since is makes no changes to original site so once uninstalled all is back as before), it must be something else then AO.

    Thanks for the reply. One thing I obverved after uninstalling autoptimize is somehow the site is still loading the cached version of the mimimized/minify css/js in the headers. I tried to reload the web server with no avail. I had to go into the wp-content/cache dir and wiped out the autoptimize the directory and refresh the server, so it didn’t load anymore.

    I’m getting :
    ReferenceError: wp is not defined before the failed load of the javascript, if that means anything.

    page caching/ cloudflare maybe?

    Perhaps .. I did try many things, perhaps I didn’t stop the cloudflare proxy at the time. But after disablinng and uninstall autoptimize, it didn’t remove the cache dir, so I had to manually delete it while trying to debug this thing.
