wp-cache vs. wp-super-cache files

  • I’ve been using WP-Super-Cache for a while now and I was wondering about two things:

    1. What causes the creation of wp super cache files vs. wp cache files? That is, in the dashboard all I see are wp cache files even though the plugin is set to on and not half on.

    2. What is the difference between a wp super cache file and a wp cache file?
