• I’m trying to install WP-Cache v2.1.2 but I’m having problems with it.
I don’t see the plugin under the “Plugins List” in WP if the files are inside plugins/wp-cache.

I tried moving the files outside (and just into ‘plugins’) and I see the plugin listed on the WP Plugins Page. When I activate it and go to “Options->WP-Cache”, it tells me that the wp-cache-phase1.php file inside plugins/wp-cache folder doesn’t exit even though it’s there and chmodded to 777.

If I try to install the plugin using the “Manual Instructions” the WP-Cache option doesn’t appear under “Options” tab.

Any ideas what could be wrong?

I think I have a similar issue. I’ve activated and enabled WP-Cache (latest version to date) but when I click on my Plugins link in my admin pages I get a 500 internal server error. If I disable WP-Cache it works fine. Anyone know why it does this? I’m not too worried I don’t think I need the plugin it but would be nice to know why it errors when enabled.
